The X-RAY project would be put on hold and Ozzy returned with a new 1995 solo album entitled 'Ozzmosis', written over a lengthy period and involving the talents of many songwriters and musicians. Ozzy had re-enlisted ZAKK WYLDE and hired former WHITESNAKE drummer Denny Carmassi, also ex-MONTROSE, GAMMA and HEART amongst others. Only one song, 'My Little Man', would be salvaged from the X-RAY sessions. For the first time a whole host of songwriters were involved in the album project including MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister, penning lyrics to 'See You On The Other Side', Steve Dudas, Jim Vallance (BRYAN ADAMS) and Mark Hudson. This latter collaborator would co-score a track with Ozzy entitled 'Rasputin'. Although not used for the 'Ozzmosis' album, the song would spur ongoing work on a full blown musical about the controversial Russian priest. Meanwhile, a Japanese variant of the much vaunted album notably included the bonus track 'The Whole World's Falling Down'...
