Albany Creek, Brisbane Black orientated Doom duo ABSCOND, comprising Entity I (a.k.a. 'Vlad' or 'Heims') on vocals, of AUDET, PESTIUN and BEHRHEM, guitar and programming with Surtur, from MUSPELHEIM, on guitar and bass, with Vre supplying additional vocals issued the three track 'Misery' EP in April 2005. A shared EP in alliance with AUDET, entitled 'United Black Supremacy', emerged in September followed by the 'Reparation Of Deception' demo.

In April 2007 ABSCOND, now operating as a solo concern of 'Vlad', released the demo 'Deteriorated Forms Of Celestial Light'.
