DYNASTY is a Nova Lima, Minas Gerais based Christian Heavy Metal band founded in 1996. The opening formation counted vocalist Nahor Andrade, guitarist Walter Canuto, guitarist Daflas Cruz, Anderson and drummer Lelo. In 1995 both Daflas and Lelo exited, the latter being replaced by Samuel Magno. DYNASTY's first demo tape, 'Into Righteousness', was crafted during this period. In 1997 Daflas returned, but then decamped once again to form WARBLADE. In 1998 the band introduced guitarist Wemerson Serino. Yet more changes the following year found Filipe Duarte taking the bass position and then the introduction of guitarist André Baiano and bass player Junior. This version of the band cut the demo 'The Angels Return', featuring cover versions of BLOODGOOD's 'Out Of Darkness' and 'A Face In The Dark' by BARREN CROSS, after which Gustavo Colen enrolled on guitar.

2000 brought further changes with the addition of guitar player César Martins and drummer Rafael Sales for the demo 'Following The Sign', recorded at Audio Midi Studio in Contagem. Ademir Machado then took command of the drums for live shows. Ivan Almeida became DYNASTY's new bassist in 2002 and ex-AVITUS man Gustavo Ivon was recruited on keyboards in 2003 for recording of debut album 'Motus Perpetuus' for Avantage Records...
