Gothic Christian Rockers AMOS, dating to 1994, debuted with the 1998 demo 'Confort In Trouble'. Recording line-up for these sessions would be Rodrigo Shimabukuro on vocals and bass with guitarist Evandro Leite and drummer Elisandro Leite. For the 1999 album 'Gothic Soul', a self financed release recorded at LA Studios in Campo Grande, Clayson Moraes had taken over on drums and Jeff Barcelos added as second guitarist. 'Gothic Soul' would see a 2001 re-release, clad in new artwork and with the inclusion of three extra tracks recorded with new musicians guitarist Helder Domingues and keyboard player Denis Subtil.
The September 2004 album 'A Matter Of Time', recorded at Megaphone Studios in Campo Grande and released through Megahard Records for South America and Bombworks in the USA, saw Ricardo Thibal on drums and Evandro Vaz on guitar. Both guitarist Helder Domingues and drummer Ricardo Thibau departed in January 2005.
