Maniago melodic Metal band RAINTIME was initiated during the Summer of 1999 by guitarist Matteo Di Bon, keyboard player Claudio Coassin with Matteo Barzan on the drums. Subsequent additions would be second guitarist Francesco Rossi and bassist Michele Colussi. Following a bout of live gigs this formation recorded the opening, fully instrumental demo 'Jump In The Past'.
RAINTIME then underwent line up changes, drafting Enrico Fabris as their new drummer as Coassin switched to lead vocals. In the Autumn of 2002 Rossi opted out, being superseded by Giovanni Buora. The band then entered New Sin Audio Design Studios to commence work on album recordings 'Tales From Sadness', being joined by Carlo Nadalin. However, Nadalin in turn would be replaced by Luca Micheal Martina.
RAINTIME's debut album was released in May 2005 through Arise Records. Promoting this opus the band was to act as support to SECRET SPHERE and ROYAL HUNT's October European dates. However, these shows were cancelled in acrimonious circumstances just hours before the first date in Munich. ...
