A Stockholm Funk Rock band formed in 1985 that appeared to critical acclaim during the Funk Rock boom of the early 90s, IT'S ALIVE were formed by ex-members of Eskiltuna Hard Rock outfit LAZY, Per Aldeheim and Kim Björkgren on guitars and keyboard player John Rosth. The latter had also been a member of LINEOUT. Also involved would be singer Martin White (real name Martin Sandberg), bassist Peter Kahm and drummer Anders Gustavsson.
IT'S ALIVE had the added benefit of strong AOR influences and, following the initial pressing of 1'000 CD's, the band's debut album was given away as a free cover cassette in Britain by 'Metal Forces' magazine. The group signed to the BMG affiliated Cheron label for the second 1993 album 'Earthquake Visions', recorded at Cheiron and Soundtrade Studios, and released three singles in conjunction with the record, including 'I'm Your Man' which featured the bonus cut of a cover of KISS' 'Parasite'. The track, along with a cover of WILD CHERRY's 'Play That Funky Music', was added to the British version of 'Earthquake Visions' issued by Music For Nations...
