Warsaw Thrash act EXORCIST date to 1986, first forming up with a roster comprising lead vocalist Jarek "Butcher" Woluszko, guitarist Pawel "Aggressor" Rêczkowski, bass player Adam "Antichrist" Obuchiewicz and drummer Tomek "Skeleton" Godlewski. The following year Krzysziek "Necropihilac" Koliñski took the bass reins and in November the debut demo cassette 'Voices From The Grave' was delivered. 1988 witnessed further changes as Marcin "Beerbear" Wolyniak became new bass man and lead singer and Krzysiek "Rothon" Kuczynski was enrolled as second guitarist. This version of EXORCIST featured on the second and third demos 'Live At Thrash Camp' and 'After The North Winds'.
In 1989 an EXORCIST offshoot, dubbed E.C.H. IX, comprising Beerbear, Rothon and Skeleton, released the demo 'Creeping Stench' as a collaborative effort with DESECRATOR.
The GEISHA GONER credited Marcin Kleiber assumed bass duties in 1989 but would be superseded in 1992 by Pawel 'Skwara" Skwierawski. Yet more evolutions found second guitarist Piotr "Cieply" Falkiewicz added in 1993 and singer Grzesiek Petasz in 1994. EXORCIST folded during 1995. The pairing of Rêczkowski and Skwierawski, uniting with lead vocalist Fala and INSOMNIA guitarist Alek founded DEADICATION. Grzegorz Petasz died in June 2001.
