Progressive Rock act BFH, founded by drummer Maurizo Boco in 2000, is based in Italy but feature Swedish guitar and E-bow virtuoso MATS HEDBERG. The band released the September 2003 album 'The Gate' through the Pagina 3 label. Recorded at Umbi Studios in Rovigo with producer Vittorio Bartoli , the album was noted for its use of traditional Indian instrumentation. Although Lorenzo Feliciati recorded bass parts on 'The Gate' he would be superseded by Fabrizio Sciannameo. BFH prepared new album recordings during 2005.

MATS HEDBERG has issued a prodigious trail of solo works. An inaugural solo album, 'Nordic Lights' recorded by Marco DeAngelis at Sfera Studios in Rome, emerged on the Pagina 3 label in 2003. Follow up 'Triptych', featuring G.F.Händel's 'Adagio', was included with 8000 copies of 'Chitarre' in December 2004. Other releases include acoutic works 'Fiore Di Dr. Bach', 'Melodier' and 'Unplugged', the latter released through BMG in 2004.
