Gothic Black Metal band ABYSSARIA, based in Dormagen, Neuss, comprise a membership culled from a variety of differing acts such as Gothic act MANKIND'S ELEGY, Death Metal band VISCERA, the Pagan Metal group EVIGNATT and Black Metal unit ZWIELICHT. First convened in the summer of 1998 ABYSSARIA featured an inaugural line up of vocalist Mephir, guitarist Davian and bass player Atiscon.
Val Melkor of ZWEILICHT joined the roster in April of 2000 with his band colleague Adrahil coming in on keyboards and bass shortly after.
