HOLY SOLDIER (USA)
LINE UP
Steven Patrick (vocals), Michael Cutting (guitar), Jamie Cramer (guitar), Andy Robbins (bass), Terry Russell (drums)
White Metal act HOLY SOLDIER’s debut album benefited from song writing contributions from BLOODGOOD's main man DAVID ZAFFIRO. For touring purposes in 1990 HOLY SOLDIER drafted RED REIGN vocalist Eric Wayne. The band underwent a radical line up change following 1992’s ‘Last Train’ with vocalist Stephen Patrick, drummer Terry Russell and guitarist Jamie Cramer all departing. Wayne would take over the lead vocal position on a permanent basis in 1993. Guitarist Michael Cutting was previously a member of Chicago's TUFF LUCK.
Session drums for the 1995 effort ‘Promise Man’ were handled by Dennis Holt. The 1997 live album 'Encore', recorded in Nashville, as well as three new studio cuts with ‘Whisper' being sung by Eric Wayne, ‘In The End’ by Steven Patrick and quite surreally one track ‘Eyes Of Innocence' warbled on by 50’s crooner Pat Boone!!
The late 90’s line-up of HOLY SOLDIER comprised of Wayne, Robbins, Cutting, guitarist Scott Soderstrom and drummer Jason Martin. During 2003 Cutting returned to the scene, working alongside former TUFF LUCK singer Jay Link, ex-NEON CROSS bassist David Starkey and XYZ drummer Paul Monroe to found DEATH & TAXES. ...
