AOR
DONNIE MILLER (USA)
DONNIE MILLER, hailing from Coffeyville, Kansas, has long been (wrongly) rumoured to have been the son of Steve Miller. Donnie's debut album, 1989's 'One Of The Boys', was produced by Lance Quinn and features a co-write, 'Welcome Home', with erstwhile STYX guitarist TOMMY SHAW. He was assisted on a playing level by guitarist Vince Kirk, bass player Norman Dahlor, keyboard player Kurt Carow and Tim 'Kix' Kelly on the drums. Appearing in a low key backing vocal role on the track 'I Can't Stop Flying' would be none other than CYNDI LAUPER.
Donnie's previous bands included BANDIT, LEOTUS & THE UNKNOWNS, and DONNIE & THE ROCK. He would also try out for the guitar position with Steve Walsh's STREETS.
