DANIEL BAND (CANADA)
LINE UP
Dan McCabe (vocals / guitar / keyboards), Tony Rossi (vocals / guitar), Bill Findlay (guitar / keyboards), Matt Delduca (drums)
The DANIEL BAND was a Toronto based Christian themed Hard Rock outfit noted for the tasteful lead guitar work of Tony Rossi and high toned vocals of Dan McCabe. The opening 1982 album 'On Rock' saw McCabe and Rossi joined by second guitarist Bill Findlay and drummer Peter Cosman. The latter was replaced by Matt Delduca for 1983's 'Straight Ahead' opus. The band's final product was the 1988 album 'Running Out Of Time'. McCabe duly created DREAMER, releasing the 1991 album 'Full Metal Racket'.
The DANIEL BAND reformed to issue the live album 'Live At Cornerstone 2001'. For this outing McCabe and Rossi recruited a new rhythm cast comprising bassist Bill Davidson of DREAMER and drummer Stu Christie. During 2003 Retroactive Records re-issued the back catalogue as a series of two-on-one discs.
